The “No Kings” movement is organizing its third major nationwide protest against President Trump on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Organizers expect millions to participate, exceeding the estimated seven million who joined the October event, with over 3,000 rallies planned in cities, suburbs, rural areas, and even remote locations like Kotzebue, Alaska. Two-thirds of participants are expected from outside major urban centers.

Protesters cite grievances including Pres. Trump’s use of executive power, actions by the Justice Department, energy policies, opposition to diversity initiatives, and U.S. military involvement in the Iran conflict. Organizers describe the administration as moving toward “authoritarian” rule.

A Common Defense organizer said the protests respond to the administration dragging the country “deeper into war” and Trump seeking to “rule like a king.”
The protests follow earlier “No Kings” events, including one in June 2025 coinciding with the President’s birthday and a military parade.
