CNN gloats over Steve Bannon being placed with 'violent criminals and sex offenders' in prison

A federal judge ruled in early June that Bannon must report to federal prison by July 1, even as he appeals his conviction. He was sentenced to four months in prison for refusing to comply with a subpoena from the January 6 committee.
Bannon reportedly isn’t eligible to serve time at a minimum security prison camp, where many nonviolent offenders serve time, because he has a pending criminal case in New York. Bannon was accused in that case of defrauding donors in a fundraising effort to construct a border wall on the southern border.
One of the sources told CNN that Bannon could be held in a facility in New York City, such as Rikers Island, if his state trial proceedings occur while he is serving his federal sentence. His federal sentence is set to end in October.
