Pentagon's UFO office reveals it's investigating 'several HUNDRED' new reports of unidentified flying objects from service members in the last year - but is yet to find evidence of alien life
The Department of Defense said it's investigating hundreds of new UFO reports it has received from intelligence and military officers in the last year
In a Pentagon briefing on Friday, Under Secretary of Defense Ronald Moultrie said the objects were not only in the air, but also underwater and in space
He added that he has not seen anything to date 'that would suggest that there has been an alien visitation and alien crash or anything like that'
The briefing comes a day after Congress passed a national defense spending bill containing new requirements for the government to investigate UFOs

The Department of Defense has analyzed 'hundreds' of UFO reports from its service members since last year, some of objects flying in ways they don't yet understand, and some in space and underwater, officials revealed.

The head of the government's UFO office Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick and the Under Secretary of Defense Ronald Moultrie made the revelations in a Pentagon briefing to reporters on Friday.

'There are things that appear to demonstrate interesting flight dynamics that we are fully investigating and researching right now,' Kirkpatrick, head of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office told DailyMail.com.

Moultrie revealed that they had received reports from intelligence and military officers and other agencies of unidentified objects not only in the air, but also underwater and even in space – and emphasized the DoD's cooperation with NASA in trying to identify UFOs.

'NASA has been a particularly invaluable partner,' he said.

'We've been working with the Department of Energy, the Federal Aviation Administration, NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and others to share information and tap resources.'

However, when asked by DailyMail.com about specific cases in space, he said it was classified.

'Our ability to resolve things in the space domain, and what we have in the space domain is something that are all under sensitive sources, methods and means.

'So we'd prefer not to respond to that question,' the undersecretary of defense for intelligence and security said.

The reports of unidentified phenomena keep flooding in to the UFO office.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a report in June 2021 that documented 144 UFO incidents reported by government, military and intelligence officials.

That was followed with an admission in May 2022 at a public congressional hearing on UFOs that 400 reports had been received.

In the briefing on Friday, Kirkpatrick said that his office had analyzed 'several hundred' more since then, including some reports about incidents that predate 2021 but had only recently been filed.

A new Pentagon office set up to track reports of unidentified flying objects has received several hundreds' of new reports, but no evidence so far of alien life, according to the leadership of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office

Dr. Kirkpatrick has a physics PhD and a background in defense and intelligence. He was named head of AARO in July.

The briefing followed the passing in congress on Thursday of a national defense spending bill which contained new requirements for the government to investigate UFOs.

An amendment buried hundreds of pages into the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) will require a wide range of government departments to report UFO incidents to AARO.

Under the legislation, due to be signed into law by President Joe Biden later this month, AARO will also have to delve into government records as far back as 1945 and prepare a report on previous UFO investigations.

Another eye-catching part of the new law is a protection program for whistleblowers who want to report alleged 'deep black' undisclosed UFO programs to congress, but have until now been gagged by non-disclosure agreements.

The law will allow them to make classified reports to AARO and congress without fearing prosecution or retaliation for breaking their NDAs.

Language included within the NDAA also provides protections for potential whistleblowers, including those who may have been involved in programs relating to alleged retrieval and reverse-engineering of non-human craft but are bound by non disclosure agreements.

Moultrie was asked about whether the Department of Defense had any evidence from previous incidents including crashed craft.

'We're being very thorough about this and going back, trying to understand all the compartmented programs that this department has had,' Moultrie answered, 'to understand all the relationships that we may have had with any other organizations and all the predecessor organizations that were established before we were officially the Department of Defense.

'I have not seen anything in those holdings to date that would suggest that there has been an alien visitation and alien crash or anything like that.'

But he added: 'We're still very early on in the work that we're doing.

Moultrie also addressed claims of UAP demonstrating transmedium technology, meaning such phenomena can travel seamlessly through space, air and water.

'We have not to the best of our knowledge had any credible reporting that we've been able to analyze of transmedium activity and transmedium objects,' he said.

'We're still going through the data. And so I would say that it's early on in the process. So I don't want to be definitive in saying that there's nothing that is there.

'But I would say that we have not seen, since the May hearing, any indications that there have been transmedium activities with UAP.'

Kirkpatrick also stated that reported cases of UAP had increased to several hundred since the ODNI's UAP report was released in 2021, and that some preceded 2021.
