Liz Truss is Just Boris Johnson in Drag.
A neo-liberal adulteress who wants to ratchet up Davos's war in Ukraine.

Unless Boris Johnson had waltzed out of 10 Downing Street, cudgel in hand, and began swiping mercilessly at disabled, transgender, Muslims, his ouster should surely have marked a philosophy change at the heart of the British government. But it hasn’t, and it won’t.
Liz Truss is very much just Boris Johnson in drag.
“Oh, give her a chance!” bleats the bleeding heart, Shires Tory voter from the window of their Volvo. Such misplaced trust is also commonplace amongst working class voters so offended by the opposition Labour Party they once supported that literally any Conservative Party candidate will do. Just don’t let the party of Blair and Brown back in. A generation of strategic or protest voters created by the Iraq War, the destruction of traditional education, the financial crisis and ensuing bank bailouts, recently topped up by the left’s awkward, anti-worker aversion to Brexit.
It’s how actual conservatives felt about David Cameron’s ramming through of the Same Sex Marriage legislation in 2013. Those people mostly vote UKIP, another right-leaning party, or not at all, now. Some reluctantly went back to the Conservative Party. Then along came Prime Minister Carrie Symonds with her husband Boris Johnson in tow, committing Britain to “net zero” climate change targets, a poxy proxy war in Ukraine, and continuing porous borders. Not to mention a pandemic response equalled only in its stupidity, totalitarianism, and bureaucratic empowerment by the United States’s own.
Hey, at least Americans weren’t publicly shamed into standing in the street banging pots and pans in some kind of rudimentary social credit mind fuck to shore up the declining popularity of the so-called “envy of the world,” – Britain’s socialized healthcare system, the NHS.
But there’s good news this week if you liked Boris Johnson: a prime minister with a record of irreligion and adultery, who used the British public purse to support nonsensical foreign wars, domestic degeneracy, and whose corruption scandals rival those of his own bête noire, Vladimir Putin.
You see, in case I forgot to mention it, Liz Truss is very much just Boris Johnson in drag.
Born to far-left parents – one of whom refuses to campaign for her - Truss dabbled in anti-West protests during the Cold War, vegetarianism and monarchy abolition in her late teens, corporate profiteering in her early career, and perhaps most recently notable: opposing Brexit.
In other words, her wild inconsistencies have one consistency of their own: Truss is always on the wrong side of what is best for the ordinary Briton. It is no wonder she saw fit to once brand her fellow countrymen as “among the worst idlers in the world.”
Her premiership looks likely to be driven by the same corporate perspectives, with her stance on Boris’s “net zero” climate change targets pushing up UK energy prices unlikely to alter from her predecessors’. And if you’re one of the insufferable people who calls it “Putin’s price hike” or similar, she also intends to continue fueling Klaus Schwab’s war. So she’s left with this appalling position of “freezing energy prices” while doing nothing to alleviate the actual causes of rising energy prices: climate change policies and foreign wars.
And despite baring no philosophically conservative credentials, the UK media has sought to portray some of Truss’s more establishment alliances as “hard right”. Because if they didn’t, they’d have to report on the real right in British politics. And you aren’t allowed to learn about them, because you might end up liking them. Better to frame a former Liberal Democrat vegetarian whose only jobs were for big, corporate interests as “far right.”
Take, for instance, the “scandal” over her meetings with the American Legislative Exchange Council, the Competitive Enterprise Institute and the Heritage Foundation in 2018. In modern American political parlance, these entities are better described as pro-immigration, centrist, neoliberal, or corporatist. Which is precisely where Truss falls, especially on immigration, which her and her leadership opponent Rishi Sunak avoided besides to say they would try and stop the hundreds of people coming to the UK illegally, rather than bringing down a gross migration number that was over a million last year.
This, I would suggest, is a bigger problem than her meeting with anyone “hard right” (by which they mean nationalist/populist). And no, she didn’t. For shame. She might have had some morality rub off on her, instead of her mentor.
Yes, Truss – like her political big brother Boris – was found to be having an affair with then Member of Parliament for Westminster, Mark Fields. It seems to be a requirement for one of the high offices of state nowadays. Not that Truss has much experience there, either. Prior to assuming the role as Boris’s Foreign Secretary under a year ago, Truss served as “Minister for Women and Equalities.”
In that role, the comically left-wing British press sought to portray her as “anti-trans” because she opposed self-identification “without medical checks.”
Read that again if you need to. She didn’t oppose transgenderism or the politics surrounding it. She never said, “If you’re born a boy, you’re a boy.” The commonsense position is “sorry, but you can’t self identify.” But Liz Truss’s position appears to be, “You can identify as whatever you want, I just need to have a look at that new cock of yours, first.” Perhaps there’s something Mark Fields MP wasn’t telling us.
Flatly, across the board, Truss looks to be a worse answer to Conservative governance in the United Kingdom than Boris Johnson himself. She got her start as a result of an “all female” parliamentary candidate shortlist; rated David Cameron over Margaret Thatcher during a Times interview; maintains a coterie of neoliberal advisors who make Boris’s team look positively competent; recently praised the Islamist dictatorship in Turkey (as well as in Saudi Arabia); oh, and she took the world to the brink of nuclear war a few months ago by suggesting Britons go to fight in Ukraine. Her own government had to distance itself from her comments, as Foreign Secretary, less than 24 hours later.
You see, in case I forgot to mention it, Liz Truss is very much just Boris Johnson in drag: an Oxford-educated, wet, opportunistic, World Economic Forum-type with a predilection for moral turpitude.
That’s how the Conservative Party works now. Someone obviously worse than the last pops up, claims to be conservative, gets into office, then governs to the left of Blair’s Labour Party. A few years in, everyone accepts they’ve been terrible, but refuses to accept that the next one isn’t the “genuine conservative” the last few promised to be. It’s been “rinse and repeat” like this for over a decade now.
