What many believe about January 6 has finally been revealed to be true. There were federal ‘commandos’ at the Capitol on that day, and before. The commandos had been granted “shoot to kill” authority, and the FBI was running the operation.

Many people question the federal government’s involvement on January 6th. How did Capitol security fail so spectacularly? Were there members of the FBI acting as agent provocateurs? Were agents inciting the crowd to break the law and enter the Capitol Building so that then-President Trump could be impeached for ‘insurrection’? Was there a shadowy government or deep state conspiracy against Trump? Some things we may never know, but now we do know that there were secret forces at and inside the Capitol Building on that day.

On January 3rd, almost a half dozen government special operations teams staged at the FBI Academy complex in Quantico, Newsweek reported. The academy is about 30 miles from the Capitol Building.

There were no public requests for the special operations teams to be deployed, the report states. It was all done secretly, behind the scenes, and unilaterally approved by then-acting Attorney General Jeffrey A. Rosen.

There were no formal requests from the Secret Service, the Metropolitan Police Department, or the Capitol Police; indeed, no external requests were received from anyone, the report notes. Leadership at the Justice Department and FBI thought something might happen that day and decided to take independent actions, with the special operations forces behind the scenes, in the shadows.

Rosen would later tell Congress, “I believe that DOJ [Department of Justice] reasonably prepared for contingencies ahead of January 6, understanding that there was considerable uncertainty as to how many people would arrive, who those people would be, and precisely what purposes they would pursue.” Rosen added that the DOJ had “no frontline role with respect to crowd control,” that they were focused on “high-risk” operations.

According to the report, the “FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team, the FBI’s national “Render Safe” team, an FBI SWAT team from the Baltimore Field Office, Special Response Teams from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the U.S. Marshals Service Special Operations Group” staged at Quantico prior to January 6th, and then staged very close to the Capitol Building on the day of the protest.

The FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team was the team that actually entered the Capitol Building after the protesters did.

The Hostage Rescue Team (HRT), comprised of 350 people, was established in 1983 as a counterterrorism unit at the National level and has given law enforcement agencies in the United States a “tactical” option, a military option, for the most extraordinary cases they face. The Hostage Rescue Team was initially formed as a domestic counterterrorism unit; however, after the 9/11 attacks, the team expanded its mission and began to cooperate with the Joint Special Operations Command overseas in highly-publicized raids and targets.

Early in the day, FBI tactical teams arrived on Capitol Hill to assist in the collection of evidence at sites where explosive devices were discovered – at the Republican and Democratic party headquarters. No suspects have been arrested in that case. FBI snipers and SWAT teams secured congressional office buildings near the Capitol Building. Agents from the FBI also provided select security around the Capitol, protecting congressional staff and members.

As part of the emergency response, one team coordinated with the U.S. Secret Service and Capitol Police to ensure that Vice President Pence remained secure in the underground parking structure beneath the Capitol, where he was supposed to evacuate from. The vice president refused to leave the building and remained underground instead.

This additional layer of highly armed responders operating under the control of the Attorney General-and mostly following contingency plans that Congress or the Capitol Police weren’t aware of added an additional layer of highly armed responders. The report noted that sources at the FBI said that military personnel seconded the FBI, as well as those on alert as part of the National Mission Force and that they were in the metropolitan area during this highly classified operation, no role for the military has been revealed. We are left to wonder: What did the Justice Department see on January 6 that provoked it to see it as an extraordinary event – something that the other agencies appear to have overlooked.

Of course, there are a lot of other questions about who was operating behind the scenes, and who may have been in with the feds or the FBI.

According to another report, ‘Oath Keepers president Stuart Rhodes, black lives matter/Antifa activist john Sullivan, January 6th capitol cheerleader Ray Epps, and Thomas disabled former FBI worker turned Oath Keeper, have all been subpoenaed by Kelly Meggs’ defense attorney Jon Moseley. Meggs is an imprisoned Oath Keeper accused of conspiring to storm the capital.’

Several non-traditional media outlets have suggested that at least three of Megg’s accusers are federal agents or informants. Megg’s attorney believes these names will prove Megg’s innocence and demonstrate the J6 commission’s political motivations.

The presence of Rhodes in Washington, D.C., raised many questions. Revolver News published a series of investigative reports suggesting Rhodes works for the federal government or its intelligence agencies.

Rhodes led a number of Oath Keepers to Washington, D.C., but none of them have been charged; some, like Meggs, were held without bail for nearly a year.

It appears the government does not suspect Rhodes of committing crimes on January 6, although he was interviewed by the FBI voluntarily.

Conservative circles became aware of Epps’ identity through the exhaustive work of Revolver News, which compiled an extensive video featuring Epps urging conservatives gathered in Washington, D.C., to storm the Capitol on & before January 6.

Shortly after it was added to the FBI’s list of suspects wanted in connection with the January 6th incident, Epps’ name and image were removed. For his role in the January 6th “insurrection,” which appeared to involve organizing and encouraging supporters of Trump to “go inside the Capitol” on January 5 and 6, Epps has not been arrested or appears to be under investigation.

Rhodes has worked with Epps at Oath Keepers in the past. In 2011, Epps served as the Chapter President of Oath Keepers.

Antifa and BLM activist John Sullivan was identified as being among the activists who entered the Capitol building illegally on Wednesday. However, Sullivan is not a Trump supporter; in fact, he opposes him.

Despite being the self-styled founder of the “Insurgence USA” group, the BLM activist posted warnings like “An armed revolution is the only effective way to bring about change” on his Instagram page that has since been deleted.

Sullivan appeared to urge protesters to continue the advance into the Capitol, identifying himself as one of the crowd and appearing to urge them on, possibly raising questions about his organization’s impact that day. After being charged, Sullivan surrendered the money he gained from selling his films, including the money he had earned. Sullivan appeared as a guest on CNN shortly after the individuals were cleared from the Capitol building to speak about what he saw there. While interviewing Sullivan, CNN Anderson Cooper seemed uninterested in how Sullivan got into the Capitol Building or why he was there.

Unlike the other J6 political prisoners, Sullivan was released on bail immediately after his arrest and was not subjected to deplorable prison conditions in prisons and jails across the country.

So we have secret government commandos on the scene on January 6th and a lot of shady characters who may have been working with the FBI who were urging Trump supporters to break the law on that day. There are a lot more questions to be answered.
