Admiral Richard E. Byrd, was a U.S. American Antarctic explorer and Admiral of the U.S. Navy. Admiral Byrd was admitted to the Masonic Lodge "Federal Lodge No.1" in Washington D.C. before his Antarctic expedition and then founded the Lodge "Antarctic No.777" in Antarctica with 60 other Masonic brothers.
