Arizona: 40 Arrested In Undercover Child Sex Trafficking Operation

"Operation Behind The Mask" was a multi-agency operation targeting child sex trafficking & human trafficking in the Phoenix-area. The operation led to the arrests of 40 men.
During the investigation, detectives placed ads on websites known to be frequented by people seeking illegal sexual contact with minors. The suspects, who ranged in age between 20 to 64, all solicited and/or brokered deals for various sex acts & were subsequently arrested.
The suspects were arrested by various police agencies & on multiple charges, including child sex trafficking, luring, and attempted sex conduct with a minor. Other charges included money laundering & drug possession.
