The House Oversight Committee, chaired by Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), has requested testimony from Tova Noel, one of the correctional officers at the Metropolitan Correctional Center who was on duty the night Jeffrey Epstein died in August 2019.
According to Chairman Comer, the committee believes Noel possesses information relevant to its ongoing investigation into Epstein’s death and related matters.
In a letter sent to Noel, the committee asked her to appear for a transcribed interview on March 26, 2026.
This development follows recent scrutiny of newly released Justice Department documents that have raised additional questions about events surrounding Epstein’s death at the facility.
