Three people were injured at a Dallas ICE facility on Wednesday morning and police are searching for a possible sniper or multiple shooters, police sources tell WFAA. 

Police responded to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office around 7 a.m Wednesday at 8101 North Stemmons Freeway in Dallas, off Interstate 35E.

Three people are wounded, sources say. Dallas police are searching for a possible sniper and another shooter or shooters on top of buildings in the area, sources say. Shortly after 7 a.m., sources said one shooter was found shot on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney's office, but more details were not released.

Texas Department of Transportation cameras in the area showed heavy police traffic and emergency vehicles in the area off I-35E. 

ANOTHER ROOFTOP SHOOTER- Three people were shot. The victims were apparently in ice custody.

Reports are that a white male was shooting at detainees from a rooftop. The suspect then shot himself when approached by law enforcement.

FBI reports bullet rounds found near the suspected shooter in the Dallas shooting contained anti-ICE messages. The incident is being investigated as targeted violence, following a similar attack on an immigration detention center in Alvarado, Texas, on July 4th.

A full government response is underway to bring those responsible to justice. No law enforcement officers were harmed, and victim identities are withheld. The public is urged to provide information to the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

NBC News reports Joshua Jahn, the 29-year-old Dallas ICE facility shooter, was described by his brother Noah as apolitical and not strongly opinionated about ICE. Jahn, an unemployed coder and independent voter with a 2016 marijuana delivery conviction, was planning to move to his parents’ Oklahoma property. Noah, shocked by the attack, said Jahn wasn’t a skilled marksman but knew how to use their parents’ rifle.

A former Boy Scout troop member, who knew Jahn since their teens, was stunned, recalling Jahn’s frustration with immigration policies years ago but noting his opposition to gun violence. The troop member, who lost contact five years ago, described Jahn as supportive, not action-oriented, and someone he’d call for help emotionally or physically.

The Dallas ICE sniper left letters stating, "Yes, it was just me and my brain" and "Good luck with the digital footprint."
