Virginia Giuffre, one of the most prominent survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse, has died by suicide, her family said Friday. 

Giuffre, 41, died in Neergabby, Australia, where she had been living for several years.

Giuffre was one of the earliest and loudest voices calling for criminal charges against Epstein and his enablers. Other Epstein abuse survivors later credited her with giving them the courage to speak out.

She also provided critical information to law enforcement that contributed to the investigation into and later the conviction of Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as other investigations by the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.



Virginia Giuffre Update: Police have confirmed that emergency services found a woman unresponsive in her home near Perth, Western Australia, on Friday night. She was pronounced dead at the scene after first aid was unsuccessful.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious, police said.

A lawyer for Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre — who killed herself at her home in Australia — has cast doubt on her suicide, insisting, “We’ve got big question marks over it.”

Karrie Louden claimed the 41-year-old mother had shown no sign she wanted to harm herself before she was found dead at her farm in Western Australia last Friday.

“When I got the phone call, I was like, ‘Are you joking?’ Because there was no sign that that was something she was considering,” the lawyer told the Sun.

Louden, who had represented Giuffre since January, expressed skepticism over her family’s shocking announcement that she had taken her own life.

“There’s suicide and then there’s misadventure,” Louden claimed.

“I didn’t see her in the room. I wasn’t in there. The family said what the family has said but I’m not going to speculate whether it was suicide or accidental.”

Virginia Giuffre's father is now calling on authorities to do some digging into her death, which has initially been ruled a suicide ... something he says she always warned to be wary of if she was ever found to have taken her own life.

Virginia's family chalked her death up to suicide in a statement announcing her death last week, but now her father is walking that back.

Virginia's father, Sky Roberts, tells TMZ ... his daughter posted videos in the past saying that if she ever died by suicide to not believe it -- and to have authorities investigate.

In addition to her father's call for authorities to take a closer look at Virginia's death, her attorney is also casting doubt about her committing suicide.

Virginia's attorney told The Sun there were no signs she was contemplating suicide ... saying, "There's suicide and then there’s misadventure."

Virginia Giuffre’s family has shared a heartbreaking handwritten note she left behind before her suicide Friday — with a final message of support for sexual abuse survivors.

Giuffre — the most prominent victim of late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein — left the note at her Australian farmhouse where she died by suicide on April 25, according to a Facebook post.

Her family found it among several of her possessions — and think it was intended to be sent to a protest outside the White House Wednesday, her heartbroken sister-in-law, Amanda Roberts, said.

“We are not going to go away,” Giuffre, 41, wrote in the letter.

“Mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers need to show the battlelines are drawn and we stand together to fight for the future of victims.

“Is protesting the answer? I don’t know, but we’ve got to start somewhere,” she added.

The heartbreaking final note was shared on social media by Roberts, who made clear her mission to carry on Giuffre’s legacy following her untimely death.
