NATO CHIEF: RELATIONS WITH RUSSIA SHOULD BE RESTORED AFTER WAR ENDS

Mark Rutte signaled that ties with Russia should eventually be normalized once the Ukraine war ends—but stressed that now is not the time.

Rutte: “We must maintain pressure to ensure Russia takes negotiations seriously.”

He acknowledged that Europe and the U.S. would seek gradual reconciliation after the conflict is resolved.
