Elon Musk has accused the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) of funding biological weapon research.

"Did you know that USAID, using YOUR tax dollars, funded bioweapon research, including COVID-19, that killed millions of people?" Musk stated on his X account.

Previously, he labeled USAID as a criminal organization that he believes should be dissolved.

According to the Associated Press, two security officials from USAID were put on administrative leave due to a conflict with DOGE after they declined to share classified information with Musk's team.

NBC News reported in late January that over 50 USAID staff members were placed on paid administrative leave indefinitely following an internal audit which revealed actions intended to bypass the President's executive orders and the public's mandate.
