Israel has launched precise strikes on Iranian military targets in response to Iran’s October 1 missile assault, which Tehran claimed was retaliation for the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

On October 1, dozens of Iranian missiles triggered air raid sirens across Israel, with multiple interceptions reported. The attack left one Palestinian dead in Jericho, according to IDF spokesperson Nadav Shoshani.

Following the assault, Netanyahu warned, “Iran made a big mistake tonight—and it will pay for it,” as U.S. officials cautioned Israel to avoid Iranian oil or nuclear sites.

Currently, jets are reportedly heard over Syria and Jordan, however no official confirmation.
