NEW INVESTIGATION INTO SPECIAL COUNSEL JACK SMITH’S OFFICE —

We just launched an investigation into the Biden-Harris DOJ and FBI to obtain all communications from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s Office throughout its investigation of President Trump:

Special Counsel Jack Smith intends to publish his final report on the federal investigations into President Trump before January 20, according to a CNN report. Attorney General Merrick Garland is expected to release the report publicly.

One day after moving to dismiss both his cases against President-elect Donald Trump, special counsel Jack Smith is continuing to defend the validity of his own appointment as he appeals the dismissal of the classified documents case against Trump's co-defendants.

In a filing Tuesday, Smith urged a federal appeals court to reverse U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon's decision to toss the classified documents case based on the constitutionality of Smith's appointment as special counsel.

Smith moved to drop Trump from the case Monday due to a long-standing Justice Department policy that bars the prosecution of a sitting president, as he continues his appeal of the case's dismissal with Trump's two co-defendants, his longtime valet Walt Nauta and Mar-a-Lago property manager Carlos De Oliveira.

DOJ briefed the Committee on prosecutorial misconduct by Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team.

Chairman @Jim_Jordan demands the DOJ produce the requested documents and information:

“..To date, despite several requests, you have refused to provide critical information about OPR's operations that would meaningfully advance the Committee's oversight. The information that you have provided only reinforces our concerns that OPR acts more to protect Department prosecutors than to root out prosecutorial misconduct. While we appreciate you confirming an open investigation into Jack Smith's prosecutors, we are concerned that your refusal to take prompt investigative steps will allow these attorneys to evade internal accountability by leaving the Department…

“…As we have explained, the briefing did not alleviate concerns about ORP's inquiry or satisfy the Committee's informational needs. Accordingly, we again ask that you produce the requested documents and information as soon as possible but not later than 10:00 a.m. on December 18, 2024.”
