EXCLUSIVE: Illegal alien disarms Boston ICE agents during targeted arrest in Everett, MA—MS-13 gang member also apprehended
Hostile bystanders also gathered at the scene, harassing ICE agents as they worked to apprehend the subject.

An illegal immigrant disarmed a Boston US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent during a targeted enforcement operation on Wednesday in Massachusetts. The subject pulled a firearm out of an agent's holster during a chaotic scuffle as he resisted arrest, video shows.

An ICE spokesperson identified the subject in a statement to The Post Millennial as Alfredo Wilson Figueroa Landaverde, a previously deported illegal immigrant from El Salvador. The incident occurred on Main Street in Everett, MA, a town located just north of the sanctuary city of Boston.

Video footage taken by a bystander captured the intense physical confrontation. Multiple ICE officers could be observed subduing Landaverde on the ground beside a pickup truck on a residential street. He was resisting arrest and defying lawful demands.

"Stop resisting! Stop resisting," ICE agents yelled out to Landaverde, pinning him on the pavement as he wrestled with officers.

"He's grabbing your gun! He's grabbing your gun," an ICE officer shouted moments later. Sources said Landaverde allegedly pulled a firearm out of an arresting officer's holster. The video shows an ICE officer taking the firearm out of the migrant's possession as other agents remained on top of him.

Officers maintained physical control during the volatile situation. Hostile bystanders also gathered at the scene, harassing ICE agents as they worked to apprehend Landaverde, according to video. The migrant was ultimately taken into custody and faces fresh criminal charges, sources said.

Landaverde unlawfully returned to the United States following a July 14, 2015, removal, according to ICE. "He illegally reentered the US— a felony— on an unknown date and at an unknown location," an ICE spokesperson said.

"During the apprehension, the alien repeatedly ignored officers' commands, attempted to flee, resisted arrest, and attempted to disarm an officer," the ICE spokesperson continued. "During the apprehension, the alien's family members repeatedly attempted to interfere with the arrest, shouted profanities, and recorded video. The arrest was completed without further incident, and the alien was transported to the Burlington Field Office for processing. He will remain in ICE custody pending removal."

Earlier in the day, Boston ICE agents arrested a Salvadoran illegal alien MS-13 gang member who had a red notice. He faces up to 45 years in prison in his home country for his involvement in the foreign terrorist organization, sources said.

The subject had been hiding out in the sanctuary state before ICE closed in on him.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported a 1,300 percent increase in violence against federal immigration officers since President Trump returned to the White House in January 2025 and enacted mass deportation operations.

Governor of Massachusetts Maura Healey and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu have both faced increased scrutiny from Congress and the Trump White House over their sanctuary policies aimed at shielding illegal immigrants from ICE. This includes releasing criminal illegal immigrants from jail without notifying ICE and prohibiting ICE from obtaining undercover license plates to interfere with immigration enforcement operations, among others.
