Open Society Foundations announced a new $300 million initiative yesterday — five years of grants for strategic litigation, civil liberties defense, and what the foundation calls exposing government corruption.

Eight months ago, DOJ directed prosecutors to prepare criminal investigations into the foundation. There have been no public updates since.
