Trump departs Washington aboard Air Force One for his China trip to meet with Xi.






President Trump will be joined in China this week by 17 chief executives, including Elon Musk and Tim Cook.

The White House distributed a list on Monday of business leaders who are scheduled to be in Beijing with the president. Mr. Trump is slated to depart Washington on Tuesday and hold meetings with Xi Jinping, China’s leader, later in the week.

U.S. officials have said President Trump wants to discuss the creation of a board of investment and a board of trade with China, and the delegation includes business leaders across a wide range of industries.

- Easing restrictions on US tech exports (especially AI chips)

King Charles III just announced DIGITAL ID, so I couldn’t help but notice all the players that would be necessary to do this are literally there… Roughly half the group is centered on AI, chips, networking, data, digital payments, and smart tech (EVs/autonomous driving). This trip also heavily emphasizes the “digital economy” alongside traditional trade.

Incredible… President Trump was invited by Xi Jinping to the Temple of Heaven in China.

Surprisingly, only two sitting U.S. presidents have ever been officially invited by China to (and have visited) the Temple of Heaven as part of state visits.
