Law Firm Sues Hunter Biden Over Unpaid Legal Bills

Hunter Biden, 55, is being sued by Winston & Strawn, led by attorney Abbe Lowell, for over $50,000 in unpaid legal fees from his Delaware gun trial and federal investigations, per a lawsuit filed June 20, 2025, in Washington, DC’s Superior Court. The firm alleges Biden paid only part of the fees between March 2023 and October 2024, leaving a substantial amount due, with billing rates ranging from $230 to $1,945 per hour. “Despite repeated requests for payment, Mr. Biden has failed to pay the amounts he owes,” the complaint states, noting over $50,000 owed as of April 30, 2025.
