In a press briefing, Homan addressed the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s approach

Tom Homan, the White House border czar, announced on Thursday that the Trump administration will persist with immigration raids at workplaces such as farms and hotels, while emphasizing that individuals with criminal records will be the primary focus.

In a press briefing, Homan addressed the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s approach to workplace operations, following the Department of Homeland Security’s recent decision to overturn guidance that had temporarily halted such actions.

“The message is clear now that we’re going to continue doing worksite enforcement operations, even on farms and hotels, but based on a prioritized basis. Criminals come first,” Homan said.
